Using Irene’s home cooked recipes and containing up to 2 of your baby’s 5 a day fruit and veg portions, Pip & Pear looks and tastes like real food because that’s just what it is.
Pip and Pear is stocked in over 110 SuperValu stores nationwide and is also available in Aldi THIS WEEK (17th Sept) as part of their baby and toddler event! Pip and Pear first launched with Aldi in May in conjunction with their baby and toddler promotion. The demand for the new baby food range was so great that Aldi wanted Pip and Pear back on their shelves again. Aldi’s enthusiasm for Irish producers, sourcing over 50% of their products from Irish suppliers and their commitment to outstanding quality, made it a perfect fit for the launch of Pip & Pear Chilled Baby Food.
Parents can now buy nutritious baby food that looks and tastes great, without the worry of having to compromise on flavour and nutritional value. Pip & Pear is cooked exactly the same way as you would at home, we just use a bigger pot, and it doesn’t need the intensive cooking methods of long shelf life pouches and jars.
Like every busy parent, Irene occasionally needed a convenient baby food but couldn’t find anything in stores that came close to home cooking, and so Pip & Pear was born. She took the brave step of putting it on the menu at “No.9 Barronstrand St.” and the response was amazing; within weeks people were driving from all over the south east to stock up.
Last year, Pip & Pear swept the boards winning Gold, Silver and Bronze in the Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards and has been shortlisted again for the awards ceremony early next month.
