Adare Machinery

Doosan/Bobcat at National Ploughing Championships

Waterloo, Belgium – At this year’s National Ploughing Championships taking place in County Laois in Ireland from 22-24 September 2015, Limerick-based Adare Machinery will have the company’s biggest ever stand at the show and will be displaying several new Doosan and Bobcat products for the first time in Ireland.

These include the new Doosan Stage IV compliant DX300LC-5 31 tonne and DX140LC-5 14 tonne crawler excavators and the new Bobcat T35130S 13 m telehandler. These will be joined on the stand by more Doosan excavators and wheel loaders and a wide selection of Bobcat compact excavators running from the E10 to the E85, Bobcat skid-steer loaders including the S70, S530, S650 and S850 models and the new Bobcat TL358+ telehandler. All of the Bobcat compact loaders will be equipped with different Bobcat attachments including the S850 model and the largest Bobcat WS32 wheelsaw, one of over 60 types of Bobcat attachment for use with the Bobcat compact loader range.

Award-winning Family-run Dealership

Adare Machinery is an award-winning machinery dealership established by David and Marian Cuddy in 1984, which has developed into a fully-fledged family enterprise, with son, William, and daughter, Caroline, involved in the running of the business. Together with an excellent team of staff, the Cuddys continue to innovate, expand and grow the business.

As an Authorised Dealer for Doosan Construction Equipment, Adare Machinery has exclusivity for sales and service in Munster and Connacht for Doosan crawler and wheeled excavators from 3 to 53 tonne and the Doosan range of wheel loader models with bucket capacities from 1.9 to 4.8 m3. For the Bobcat range, Adare Machinery is the Authorised Dealer for the whole of Ireland.

Operating out of state-of-the-art premises at Patrickswell near the city of Limerick, Adare Machinery is also offering service and warranty work on all existing Doosan and Bobcat machines in its area, backed by a full selection of genuine accessories and parts.

New 30 tonne Powerhouse

The new Doosan DX300LC-5 excavator is powered by the Scania DC9 5-cylinder diesel engine, with an output of 202 kW of power at 1800 rpm, providing a huge 27% increase in engine power and a massive 30% boost in torque over the previous LC-3 model.

The engine meets Stage IV emission regulations without the need of a diesel particulate filter (DPF), through the use of cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and selective catalyst reduction (SCR) after-treatment technologies.

The DX300LC-5 excavator has an operating weight of 30.9 tonne and a bucket breakout force of 20.1 tonne (ISO), while the arm breakout force is 13.9 tonne (ISO). Maximum digging reach is 10.73 m at ground level in the standard configuration and the maximum digging depth is 7.31 m.

New Bobcat 13 m Telehandler

Adare Machinery will be showing for the first time in Ireland, the new Bobcat 13 m lift height T35130S telehandler, which along with the new Bobcat T35140S 14 m telehandler, is aimed at the construction and rental industries, with both telehandlers offering a 3.5 tonne maximum lift capacity.

The introduction of the new 13 and 14 m models follows on from the launch of the new Bobcat 10, 12, 14 and 18 m lift height telehandlers over the last two years. Whilst they have a simpler design intended to meet the needs of the rental business, the new T35130S and T35140S telehandlers still offer many of the advantages of the new generation models.

Particular attention has been paid to aspects such as the protection of sensitive parts, and intuitive and safe operating to meet the needs of rental users. The easy-to-use compact stabilisers ensure that the full capabilities of the new telehandlers can be utilised in the most confined working areas and close to walls (minimal loss of reach).

As in other new generation machines, the T35130S and T35140S telehandlers offer advanced features such as the new Panoramic Cab which has a large parabolic windscreen providing panoramic visibility especially when handling loads at height. In the cab, there is a new dashboard with digital display and intuitive controls including a joystick with integrated forward/reverse (FNR) control for improved productivity and safety.

The working envelope for the T35130S telehandler has a maximum lift height of 12.55 m and a maximum forward reach of 8.6 m. The Bobcat T35140S telehandler has a maximum lift height of 13.6 m and a maximum forward reach of 9.8 m.
