RTÉ (Raidió Teilifís Éireann) is Ireland’s Public Service Broadcaster. Visitors will get the chance to go behind the scenes with RTÉ at this year’s National Ploughing Championships; experience live Radio and Television programmes, become a RTÉ Weather presenter or even appear on the cover of the RTÉ Guide. RTÉ Radio will be broadcasting a number of shows daily from the marquee and lyric fm will be running outreach programmes to teach visitors how to make a radio programme. Each day don’t miss a unique opportunity to come and see the live weather bulletins in the RTÉ marquee. Visitors will also get the chance to have a go themselves, so if you’re a ‘weather wannabe’ and think you have what it takes, be sure to drop by. The RTÉ Guide is bringing its Become a Star for the Day road show which will give visitors to the marquee the opportunity to feature on their very own personalised cover of the RTÉ Guide!
