St Joseph’s Visually impaired Centre

St. Joseph’s is the only dedicated centre of its kind in the Republic of Ireland, providing education and training for blind and visually impaired children aged from birth upwards. All our students have a vision impairment and many have additional disabilities. Students attending the centre come from all parts of the country.

We seek, through education, training and social care, to provide our students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to fulfil their individual potential, so each can lead the life of his/her choice.

At our stand we will be showing videos describing what we do at St. Joseph’s as well as parents and children’s experiences of our service. We will also have brochures on all aspects of our service.

Our representatives at the Championships will be Mrs. Annette Cashin and Mr. Paddy Coyle, both from our Fundraising Team. They will be happy to chat with you and answer any queries you might have. Come along and say hello!
