The College of Integrative Acupuncture is now enrolling for its next 3 year, part time, professional training course beginning on the 15th & 16th October, 2011. Students travel from all over Ireland to study this Acupuncture Course based in Galway. The College was established in 1996 and the Course Director Linda Heffernan has been practicing Acupuncture and Herbalism in Galway since 1984, having studied in the Traditional College of Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, U.K.

The professional Training course offers a comprehensive study of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Herbalism, Diet, a Japanese Organ Flow system called Jin Shin Jyutsu, Chakra Balancing, Anatomy and Physiology and an in-depth Clinical Training. It is the only College offering a three year accredited licentiate program in the West of Ireland.

Many people are studying acupuncture to make a new career for themselves, others study to understand health and wellbeing and we will be delighted to discuss this with you when you come and meet us at our stand. Acupuncture is now widely accepted as a primary form of health care and has been endorsed by the World Health Organisation as a very effective and successful form of treatment.
